This past Sunday was the memorial tribute concert for Doug Riley at Convocation Hall in Toronto. There was a stellar lineup of performers playing to a full house, and not a dry eye in the house. David Clayton-Thomas, Dione Taylor, Motherlode, Dr. Music….the list goes on. Victory in Regina!! – Nov 2/07

Just got back a few days ago from Regina, where we (Measha Bruggergosman, Kevin Breit and I) won the Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Variety Program. It was  a great weekend and a great honor , even though they bumped my award off the broadcast! I survived what felt like a 48-hour cocktail party…..standing around in my tux for 12 hours. Lots of good schmoozing and face time with people I rarely get to see. The Songwriters Hall of Fame Show is the most fun event of the entire year for me….we’ve already started work...

2 Gemini Nominations! – Aug 29/07

Hello everyone…i’m pleased to tell you that I received 2 Gemini nominations yesterday morning….both for my work on the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame show. One for the performance of How About You with Michael Buble, and the other for the performance of Both Sides Now with Measha Bruggergosman and Kevin Breit. The award will be presented  on Oct 28th/2007 on CBC television nationwide. The Songwriters show itself received 5 nominations, which was great news. The new updated site! – July 1/07

Hey everyone, Well it’s been a while coming, but the new site is finally up. We’ve got some clips of the last Songwriters Hall of Fame show, which was a blast, and a bunch of new media. Big news, Chop Socky Chooks is premiering on Teletoon Canada this July. This is the CG-animated show i’m doing for Aardman, the people who bring you Wallace & Gromit, etc. It will debut internationally in February 2008.
