Victory in Regina!! – Nov 2/07
Just got back a few days ago from Regina, where we (Measha Bruggergosman, Kevin Breit and I) won the Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Variety Program. It was a great weekend and a great honor , even though they bumped my award off the broadcast! I survived what felt like a 48-hour cocktail party…..standing around in my tux for 12 hours. Lots of good schmoozing and face time with people I rarely get to see. The Songwriters Hall of Fame Show is the most fun event of the entire year for me….we’ve already started work on the next one.
After a weekend of glamour, now it’s back to the slog, the lonely guy in his studio…….”Get back in yer hole!!!!!”
