Busy Times – Feb. 22/08

Well, it’s Songwriters Hall of Fame time again. This year we’re honouring Paul Anka and Oscar Peterson, among others. Some great guests this year again. We’ve got Branford and Ellis Marsalis there to honour Oscar. And David Foster will be playing My Way with Paul Anka..along with Dione Taylor, Oliver Jones, Jully Black, Emilie-Claire Barlow and Serena Ryder, just to name a few. The show airs on CBC on Monday March 3.

2 days later, i’ll be conducting the Genie Awards, Canada’s movie awards show. That’ll air on E! and IFC on Monday March 3 as well.

I’m deep into the first season of Chop Socky Chooks at the moment, a great new CG series from Aardman/Decode, that will debut worldwide in September….sooner locally.
