CANADIANA – A BIRTHDAY PRESENT FOR CANADA… HAPPY 150TH

Songwriting as an art form has long been treasured by Canadians. There is a character to the Canadian writer that is unique and distinct.

From the homespun poetry of Ron Hynes to the complex lyrics of Joni Mitchell, from the progressive rock of Rush to the stark imagery of a Leonard Cohen song… there is a common thread. Our songwriters are the Poet Laureates of Canadian culture.
